Nearest And Dearest Podcast - Bridging Family Dynamics
No one ever said life is easy. Hello! I'm Julie. Iām just like you. Iām a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. I have navigated through alcoholism, divorce, caregiving, blending families, as well as purposely discovering and owning my truth.
Biggest life lesson? When you give yourself permission, you will find that you have more control over your life than you realize.
I hope you will join me by taking responsibility for yourself, by only controlling the things you can and letting go of the things you can't. By doing this, you will have discovered the secret to having happy, healthy and more fulfilling relationships.
Together, building a community, no matter where you live, will change your life. One person, one story, at a time. ā¤ļø

Good Mourning - A Book Review
Hello! š send me a text message! Tell me what your thoughts š are about this episode
Good Mourning - Moving Through Everyday Losses With Wisdom From The Other Side, is authored by Theresa Caputo, New York Times Bestselling Author. She is a "Spiritual Medium", known for her TLC reality television series, Long Island Medium. I love her show! I am a believer! I feel she has a true gift. If you have never seen her show, you need to stream it! Her series started in 2011 and has completed season 14 on the network TLC.
I want to review this book for you because I know you have gone through losses. Losing my mom in November 2019, was the hardest loss for me at that time. When Theresa wrote Good Mourning, and it was published in 2020, I was eager to read her take on losses. Not just losing a loved one, but the other types of losses as well. Her book has over 20 chapters that delve into relationships, jobs, health, trust, even your own identity.
